Scope of Service Request Description:
  • Must have a BS in Architecture or Professional Degree in Architecture (does not need AIA)
  • Must have 5 years-experience in industry
  • Will work on smaller renovations/additions <$5M to $8M
  • See additional information on position from AECOM below and attached e. PoP October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 but it will most likely carry over into balance of 2023 after contract renews March 2023 – very likely 2 years
  • Rate to AECOM is $123.08/hr – Desirable Salary is $94K to $100K (2.5 to 2.7 DLM respectively) g. Performs administrative and professional architectural work supporting the Project Architect to assure that all projects are comprehensively documented for construction. The work includes all aspects of departmental functions related to assigned projects including design, field documentation, production of construction documents and administrative tasks associated with completion of assigned projects.
  • Assists the Project Architect in the development of design solutions based on program requirements and in the development of those designs into construction documents. Ensures that appropriate materials are selected for execution of designs and monitors cost and schedules related to the production of construction of CDs. Construction Document production in a timely manner is the core responsibility of this role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or related field.
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience with building Architectural systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit is a plus.
  • Professional registration desirable. AIA not required.
  • Must be an effective communicator, both in oral and written form.
  • Must have the ability to use computers and be adept at using word-processing, spreadsheet and proficiency in AutoCAD.
