Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

• Full-Time, Exempt position
• Days/Typical Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm ET w/ 1 hour lunch break
• Mid-Senior level

Responsibilities:

• Be the go-to expert for customers seeking technical support in the industrial automation industry!
• Offer lightning-fast and professional response to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to industrial automation systems, including hardware, software, and networking with ease.
• Partner with customers to understand their unique technical needs and provide custom solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Join forces with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and product management, to drive customer satisfaction and tackle complex technical challenges head-on.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest industry trends, new technologies, and products, and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Document technical support interactions, resolutions, and issues with precision and accuracy, leaving a lasting impact on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred
• 2-3+ years of experience in a technical support role in the industrial automation industry
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems, electrical and mechanical systems, and networking protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be located in Midwest or East Coast in order to work remotely
