Sr. Manager, Supply Chain (Plasma)

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain (Plasma) is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing execution of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Process. This is achieved through ensuring the integration of all supply chain business processes and the systems that support them; including but not limited to: Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Procurement, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, Inventory Deployment/Distribution, Sales Order Fulfillment, and Quality Management.

This Leader will be primarily based in our Littleton factory ensuring alignment between Global strategies and Supply Chain execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Sets priorities independently and accomplishes objectives in the support of internal and external manufacturing operations through activities such as integration and maintenance of Raw Material, Planning and Systems to maintain adequate inventory levels and desired Service Levels
Responsible for Littleton factory Supply Chain function supporting the production operations with efficient on time direct material supply and production scheduling to meet operational requirements
Acts as the on-site representative for the global procurement, planning, logistics and warehousing teams for the Factory Leadership team as well as all issues arising where a decision-maker is required for challenges in achieving a factory build plan where the Littleton Supply Chain team is involved
Responsible to align Master Supply and Demand plans for new Business Unit
Lead the end to end S&OP process and all related supply and inventory meetings, metrics and improvement projects
Ensures sufficient product flow to customers in assigned regions, in alignment with Global Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) processes and strategies that meet World Class Service Level objectives:
Aligns inventory targets and policies following Global Planning processes to support typical variations in SIOP plans and lead times; manages MPS/MRP system to accomplish supply chain flows
Secures and manages inbound supply from both internal and external suppliers to support inventory policy and sales requirements for Plasma Innovation products
Manages inventory obsolescence risk and transitions for new product introductions and phase outs, as well as write-offs and disposal
Develop, monitor and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement
Identifies and works with Leadership to implement programs to effectively manage costs and maximize resources, while integrating new and existing product lines, ensuring that these adapt to changes in the business and regulatory environment.
Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the organization
Manages operating expenses of assigned departments and company codes, as well as logistics services spend for assigned to them
Be accountable & responsible for the team’s ongoing development and growth; Drive a positive culture of engagement, delivering the Terumo BCT core values and leading and inspiring in the culture of Terumo BCT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relatable field, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered
A Master’s Degree or MBA is desired

Experience

Minimum of 12 years progressive management experience in Supply Chain roles, including:
Experience as the responsible party for the SIOP process
Experience in global high-volume manufacturing/distribution environments.
Experience managing global inventory with batch/serialized traceability and shelf-life requirements.
Experience in a regulated industry, medical device, and/or pharmaceutical experience is desired.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Experience managing end-to-end Supply Chain performance employing a hierarchy of KPIs, metrics, and measures.

Skills

Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the Sales and Operations Planning Process
Demonstrated understanding of integrated business processes (e.g. Order to Cash, Plan to Manufacture, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Service to Satisfaction) and the systems/tools that support them
Demonstrated proficiency as a creative and practical problem solver
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence, influence at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through both direct and indirect reporting relationships
Proficient in analytical data assessments and topics of varying complexity in order to present insights based on business acumen and broad subject matter expertise to senior leadership staff

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

APICS CSCP/CPIM or CSCMP Certification is desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical office environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. There are requirements to occasionally work outside of normal business hours, consistent with other roles accountable/responsible for communication and collaboration with global business functions. International travel will be required at approximately 25%, or as needed due to special business circumstances.

Target Pay Range: $147,800.00 to $184,800.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 20.0%
