Lovesac is seeking a Sr. Manager, Commercialization. A Sr. Manager of Commercialization is a dynamic, highly organized, initiative-taking and resilient self-starter who is passionate and experienced in all aspects of implementing go-to-market strategy and project management operations. In this role, you will be responsible for successfully planning, managing, and delivering the customer experience strategy as well as supporting high priority and highly visible projects for the organization through the appropriate workstream. This individual has the ability to drive influence throughout the organization, enjoys building relationships cross functionally, exudes strategic acumen, and is dedicated to continuous improvement.

This position is considered remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate Headquarters based in Stamford, CT. It will offer a remote schedule with the exception of travel required by the Company for occasional meetings and conferences.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive customer experience strategy and product and services commercialization strategy through management of theme planning and integrated support workstreams
  • Participate in and support commercialization team projects to ensure successful go-to-market execution
  • Guide go to market planning and prioritization, acting as gatekeeper of launch/execution readiness to all internal and external facing initiatives
  • Build compelling and comprehensive selling stories and operating plans that support strategic annual plans inclusive of brand initiatives, product and service innovations, customer experience drivers, consumer communications, and merchandising
  • Execute ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis
  • Drive and develop process workstreams and work cross functionally to plan, schedule, track and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and validate schedules and project plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team/personnel
  • Maintain master project documentation and project status reporting
  • Facilitate project status meetings and communication between functional groups as needed
  • Triage/post-implementation support
  • Escalate roadblocks to leadership
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally and respectfully in accordance with our company standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or another related field.
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably direct experience in a commercialization, marketing or project management capacity
  • Strong ability to partner across multiple levels and functions of an organization departments, including but not limited to Marketing, eCommerce, Supply Chain, IT, Merchandising, RECD, etc.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business lines to accomplish shared goals and manage expectations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of, and experience executing, projects that adhere to guidelines, legal considerations, regulations, and PM best practices

  • Ability to work both independently, and as a part of a team

  • Demonstrated experience in and passion for team leadership, mentorship, and development of talent
  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to tablet, laptop, etc. Be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor or in our warehouse
  • Consistent ability to work both remotely and report into Corporate Headquarters as needed
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
  • Must be results driven and utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals.
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Must comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined in the Lovesac Employee Handbook.
  • Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to: iPad, laptop, etc.
  • Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for occasional meetings and conferences using various forms of transportation.
