AHF is looking to hire a Sr FP&A Analyst within the company’s Financial Planning and Analysis function. Responsibilities will include typical manufacturing support functions including month-end closing assistance, forecasting and annual budget development, analyzing historical results and tracking KPIs and operational initiatives to help improve execution throughout the organization. This analyst will work directly with the VP of FP&A and/or Manager, FP&A on special projects including new product launches, M&A transactions, working capital efficiency initiatives, process optimization, and market research.

This is a key role in supporting the profitability and growth of the company and will have high visibility throughout the company and its private-equity sponsor. High performers could see this position leading to Manager, FP&A and beyond.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Responsible for business related data analysis and reporting needs, including but not limited to:
• Forecasting and annual budget development
• Operational cost builds – bill(s) of material and labor
• Monthly accounting support as needed
• Historical financial and trend analysis
• KPI development and maintenance
• Dashboarding to deliver real-time insights to operations team
• M&A analysis and recommendations
• Market research and industry/competition benchmarking
• Supporting external reporting to banks and credit rating agencies
• Taking initiative on various data insights to drive business value based on findings

This role requires the ability to work independently, anticipate necessary steps to quarterback projects and coordinate work streams across divisions, as well as a maturity and presence to comfortably work with internal senior level executives and customers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years with strong analytics background
• Excellent modeling capabilities required leveraging Excel and various data sources (e.g. data warehouses and accounting systems) as well as business analytics tools
• Good understanding of manufacturing and related cost accounting
• Self-Starter / entrepreneurial, capable of working independently
• Strategic thinker who has ability to dive down into details
• Team player and strong communicator
• Excellent time management skills – able to manage and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with multiple sets of stakeholders
• Ability to work with large sets of data to synthesize insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in Excel, Infor M3, Tableau/other data visualization tools
• Expertise in building products markets
