Special Education Teacher (Rogers Park). Full-Time. [Now interviewing for summer 2023 start.] PACTT's Special Education Teachers provide assistance to individuals with autism in a fully integrated educational program at a therapeutic day school. Special Education Teachers provide direct support to students in the areas of academics, socialization, communication, independent living, and vocational skills. Our low staff-to-student ratio and small class sizes allow for regular small group and individual instruction. Related services (Speech Therapy, Occupational therapy and Social Work) are integrated into our classroom and community experiences. Teachers are assisted by one or more Paraprofessionals based on the number of participants in their classroom. Experience with students with autism preferred
