Atwood Energy Services is a 100% employee-owned renewable energy company based in Iowa that specializes in solar and battery storage installations. AES is looking for qualified Solar Installers to join our growing team.

Prior solar installation experience is preferred, but we are willing train individuals with construction experience.

What is expected:

· A willingness to travel overnight to complete projects

· Install solar on rooftops, carports and ground mounts to code and specifications

· Adhere to all quality and safety codes

· Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install and maintain solar installations

· Work well with the on-site team to complete projects

· Troubleshoot and repair equipment

· Daily reporting to site lead

· Maintain a high level of quality

· Communicate with the install team in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner

· General construction experience including the use of hand tools, measuring and leveling equipment

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment

What is required:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Clean driving record and reliable means of transportation

· General construction knowledge and 1-4+ years of experience

· Commitment to following OSHA and Company safety requirements

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work with a team

· Physical abilities to complete the required tasks

· Ability to lift, pull and push materials

· Willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions

· Experience using basic hand tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
