Position Summary:
MAG has a requirement for Test / Software Engineering support for Product Manager, Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (PdM WESS), Product Officer Wideband Control (PO WC) Wideband Remote Monitoring Sensor (WRMS) subsystem.

The candidate will be responsible for providing recommendations and solutions based on proven expertise. This position is based out of Ft. Belvoir, VA, but will operate fully remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Review test plans, test procedures, test reports, performance specifications, Software Design Descriptions, logistics documentation and other Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
  • Support all test events and activities including but not limited to Preliminary Qualification Tests (PQTs), Forman Qualification Tests (FQTs), System Integration Tests (SITs), System Readiness/Regression Tests (SRTs), Government Confidence Tests (GCTs), On-Site Acceptance Tests OSATs) and New Equipment Training (NET). This support will include, at minimum, planning and coordination of these events.
  • Professionally and informatively represent the Government in meetings and on teleconferences regarding test results and suggested resolutions.
  • Work independently with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), developers and management personnel for testing events and documentation.
  • Ensure proper software configuration is confirmed and validated (Configuration Management) and prepare Configuration Control Board (CCB) Change Management packages.
  • Study and understand all current and upcoming system requirements, including both fine-level details and overarching strategic goals, and communicate this information effectively to staff members and executives.
  • May travel up to 30%.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have a clear understanding of and demonstrated experience with the Government Software Lifecycle process to ensure the Government receives the necessary output from the vendor through CDRLs and other submitted documentation.
  • Previous, proven experience with Test Events listed above.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in Agile software development process and Scaled-Agile Framework (SAFe) software design methodologies. For example, the candidate may be responsible for assisting the Government in reviewing vendor release cycle Sprints to ensure vendor deliverables are met.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of SATCOM / Communications.

The minimum years of related experience required: 15-20

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
Other Qualifications
  • Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen.
