Job description
- The Social Worker shall have completed a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Social Work and eligible to take the Indiana Health Professions Bureau Licensing Examination. Minimum of two years of experience in social work practice, medical social work experience preferred. Licensure is preferred.
- Note: Prior to 1992 a Bachelor’s degree in a field other than Social Work and appropriate professional work experience was acceptable to meet licensure requirements of the Indiana Health Professions Bureau. In addition, the exam may have also been waived for those individuals according to the grandfathering clause in place with the Indiana Health Professions Bureau at the time of their licensure.
