Join our team in helping seniors in exploring benefits and community services while they live independently at Aurora Senior Housing, a HUD funded community. This Social Service Coordinator position is part time (26.25 hours per week) and enjoy working with our residents individually regarding their needs along with planning social and educational events. Essential Functions:

  • Engage residents while providing needs assessments.
  • Support residents with entitlement applications.
  • Enjoy establishing a rapport with residents while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Plan social and educational programs for residents and staff.
  • Assist the Housing Manager through difficult resident interactions.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field.
  • Preferred experience with older adults and entitlements.
  • Willingness & Ability to participate/obtain HUD Related Training or other training as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
