Job description
The Downtown Great Barrington Cultural District (DGBCD) seeks services from an experienced social media consultant to promote the DGBCD and the artists, organizations, and businesses within the District. The social media consultant will create posts produced primarily by reviewing and promoting the websites and social media posts of our local cultural district partners.
This requires following our partners’ pages and promoting the relevant information on behalf of the DGBCD. The DGBCD’s budget for this position is approximately $3,000 annually, for which the DGBCD expects one post per week on average, with additional posts during busy times of the year (for example, the holiday shopping season, ArtWeek, summer festivals, etc.). The consultant and the DGBCD would establish an editorial framework to guide the frequency and content of posts, ensuring various themes of the DGBCD are highlighted on an equal and regular basis.
