Your role
Are you passionate about driving measurable impact to address wealth inequality through investing in education? Do you like developing and executing all aspects of large-scale projects and partnerships? Are you skilled at influencing others to engage in mission-driven programs? We’re looking for someone to:
- be part of building out our corporate philanthropy strategy focusing on education and skills
- provide program management and implementation support for our emerging education portfolio
- identify measurable outcomes, inform program planning, and execute the work to accelerate the mission
- utilize strong program and partnership management skills to manage an emerging portfolio of education programs and partnerships
- play key role in crafting program communications, marketing and thought leadership opportunities
- integrate value-add employee engagement opportunities into education and skills programming
Your team
You’ll be working in Community Impact, Americas based in the New York City office in a hybrid and agile environment. Our team is part of the Global Sustainability and Impact organization and an important driver of bringing UBS’s purpose to life – reimaging the power of investing, connecting people for a better world. We are responsible for our corporate philanthropy strategy to foster inclusive economic growth for all through a focus on education and skill building programs, and employee engagement.

Your expertise
- ideally at least 8+ years of social impact / philanthropy experience in a large, matrixed organization
- ideally a bachelor's degree, or international equivalent in a relevant field
- knowledge of the best practices and programs in the US education space, as well as a developed network to bring value-add opportunities and partners to the role
- ideally a background in program management at prominent, high-performing organizations that have a national presence and reach; knowledge about impact measurement
- demonstrated experience developing and managing impactful programs and partnerships, and executing effective employee volunteering programming
- high-level organizational and project management skills; adept at planning and executing all aspects of program events
- strong writing and presentation skills, with capability to successfully communicate with diverse audiences and professionals at all levels
- passionate and knowledgeable about advancing equity in education opportunities
- results-oriented, with unquestionable commitment to high quality work
- collaborative and strong team player, a true problem solver and builder

Salary information
New York City based roles only - The salary range in NYC for this role will be $115,000 to $140,000 based on experience, education and skill level of the candidate. The role may be eligible for discretionary annual incentive compensation.
