General Summary of Job Duties

  • Oversees the operations of the Slot Department on an assigned shift.
  • Monitors currency transactions and completes appropriate logs and reports pursuant to Title 31.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Assumes the responsibilities for supervisions of the Slot Technicians in the absence of the Slot Tech Manager or Supervisor.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton STYLE.
  • Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 30 years old.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • During their assigned shift the Slot Shift Manager is authorized to hire, terminate, and initiate progressive discipline.
  • Approves Slot payouts within limits per submitted Internal Controls.
  • Recommends promotions subject to the approval of the VP of Gaming Operations

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • Manage 40 employees at one time.
  • Walk the casino floor for 7 hours
  • Have worked five year as a Floor Person,
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and walk the casino floor with it.

  • Must know Gaming Control Regulations
  • Must know Internal Controls

  • Must have working knowledge of all Window programs
  • Must have working knowledge of Stratton Warren
  • Must be able to learn or have working knowledge of CIS Dispatch System
  • Must be able to learn or have working knowledge of Oasis Floor System
  • Must have working knowledge of bill validators, printers, ATM machines and be able to do small repairs such as clearing jams,etc.
