Skilled Laborer

Intro to Star:

Star Construction Company is a Design Build and Remodel company located in Groveland Massachusetts. Our core focus as a company is to improve lives through home improvement. Our owner, Bob Williams, has dedicated his life to providing education, training and new improved cutting edge processes for the next generation of tradesmen/women in the US. We are looking to grow our team, by adding another skilled carpenter to the family. We are looking for people who embody our company culture and our core values. Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform general carpentry spanning framing, cabinets and finish
• Read plans from architect or sales team and execute on the layout, communicating
• needs to team and subcontractors
• Manage daily logs, tasks, and to do's for project and crew
• Ability to complete general carpentry tasks on your own with minimal input or supervision
• from site supervisor
• Ensure timely delivery of services and adherence to project timelines
• Responsible for regular equipment maintenance

The Ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Ability to work within established deadlines and deliver final product to company
• standards
• High degree of professionalism including punctuality, client interactions, and team
• leadership
• Working knowledge of job site safety protocols
• 4+ years of residential carpentry experience, with other trade experience a plus
• Clean driving record (DMV Record) with access to reliable vehicle
• Their own standard carpentry hand tools

Compensation:

• $20 - $30 per hour based on experience
• 401k

• Seven company paid holidays per year
