Company Info: Guardian Construction Company is a family owned and operated underground utility and restoration contractor located in New Castle, DE since 1976. We are a full service general contractor working with both private and public entities in the state of Delaware consisting of but not limited to gas, electric, asphalt and concrete restoration, ,erosion control, grading, excavation, pavement removal, traffic control, patching and pavement of all sizes, shapes and thicknesses. Seeking experienced candidates in concrete finishing and paving to join our team!

Skills / Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Minimum of 2-3 years of asphalt/concrete experience required.
• Must have experience in smoothing poured concrete on various surfaces such as floors, side walks, and curbs. Finishers need to be skilled in operating saws used to cut concrete and blacktop and be able to do concrete patch work.
• Must be able to adapt to outside working conditions (sun/rain/temperature fluctuations)
• Must be able to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 75 pounds regularly
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have strong communication skills

• Concrete Finishing: 2-5 years
