Project: Commerical Build Out - 4 Storey Hotel Renovation - 150 rooms

Location: Shreveport, Louisiana

Job Level: Mid Level

Employment Type: 3 days at Site full 8 hours and two days half at site and half can be remote. Flexible timing as required by work nature. Saturdays very rare - incase any short meeting with PM or urgent material receiving.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are a General Contractor and looking for a local at Shreveport, Louisiana who can manage the renovation of 5 storey reputed hotel. This is an existing building and the project is to remodel the whole hotel by choosing 5 to 10 rooms at a time/ floor by fllor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and direct multi-discipline subcontractors
• Maintain overall operation of execution to meet project milestones and commercial objectives
• Material take offs verification from available take offs and order material
• Travel to local store for buying small urgent materials or verify prices
• Collect material submittals / Catalog from supplier for owner approval
• Receive and verify the material ordered quantity and specification
• Provide safe working environment and quality work practices
• Coordinate with permit office, Arrange and Attend city, mud and third party inspection as required
• Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, making adjustments as necessary to comply with project needs within contractual obligations, or adjust engineering deliverables to meet customer needs
• Complete the project and get the certificate of occupancy

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5+ years’ related to commercial build out / interior construction
• Competent in the use of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint and Outlook
• Working knowledge and understanding of project controls terminology and project scheduling processes
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
• Having own truck to travel the jobsite

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $84,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
