About the Job:
The Shipping Specialist is responsible for scanning and visually checking all outbound orders. This associate will ensure compliance to DOT 49CFR and IATA guidelines by applying the correct markings and labels to hazardous and non-hazardous shipments.
In This Role, You Will:

- Scan and visually check all orders.
- Prepare domestic and international hazardous and non-hazardous group shipping.
- Create hazardous materials paperwork and international documents.
- Process packages on computerized shipping systems.

Required:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Familiarity with DOT 49CFR guidelines beneficial.
- Experience using a forklift preferred.
- Ability to lift 70lbs.
- Experience using Microsoft Office preferred.
- Previous experience working with hazardous materials preferred.
This is an in-office role based in New Milford, CT!
