Shipping Clerk - Part-Time 2nd Shift

HOURS: Monday - Friday 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM

PAY: $20.50 an hour

POSITION INFORMATION:

Prepare and package outgoing customer orders, equipment, material and product for both domestic and international shipments. Process orders with value added requirements needed to provide customer satisfaction, assembles kits, re-labels parts with customer part number. Processes packages using all approved carriers (UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL and USPS).

Essential Functions:

• Ensure orders are shipped out on time based on shipment priority.
• Ensure that all orders and associated order parts are collected for the shipment.
• Ensure that all order packaging instructions are followed.
• Determine appropriate shipping container for the material being shipped.
• Determine the correct shipment method based on the order information and shipment size.
• Understand principles of multi-piece shipping, single and multiple order consolidation, pack verification, pack all lines and COD for both domestic and international shipments.
• Understand how to file SED regulatory documentation for International shipments.
• Perform 5-S responsibilities.
• All duties as assigned.

Entry Level Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires reading writing and communication skills.
• Requires basic math and measurement skills.
• Some computer skills necessary.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
