Responsibilities:

• Assists with managing day-to-day operations by ensuring the delivery of efficient Mail Services.
• Key areas of focus include preparing and shipping outgoing mail and packages, including inserter and postage meter operations; receiving incoming shipments and packages; completing delivery to meet customer needs; processing fulfillment orders and completing high priority delivery processes.
• Organizes inventory management and maintains files per company retention guidelines.
• Maintains strong vendor relationships, provides excellent customer service, ensures compliance with postal requirements/standards, maintains company policies and procedures, and collaborates/participates in ongoing initiatives and projects.
  

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience multi-tasking and prioritizing work and attention to detail and accuracy of assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
• Must have:
  • Ability to utilize standard shipping software.
  • Basic Outlook skills including sending/receiving emails, using the calendar function, etc.
  • Basic Excel skills including entering & retrieving data/information.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills resulting in the ability to interact with all levels of management and employee population.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines.
• High School diploma, GED, or demonstrated commensurate experience.
  

Physical Requirements (specific to the role)

• Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing, and working on a computer).
• Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail, etc.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to lift and move a maximum of 60lbs.
• Ability to operate an automobile/van within the parameters of the driving policy.
• Ability to use a hand/power truck. Jack, skid loader and handheld scanner.
