GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN CITY OF INDUSTRY / MEAT PROCESSING COMPANY

• 1st shift // 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Monday - Friday // must be open to work overtime & weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Ensure constant communication with the Shipping Document Clerk to ensure all documentation completed and filed
• Pre-stage ahead of time whenever possible to assure all shipments leave complete, product is verified and all documentation is thoroughly completed.
• Notify the shipping Lead and or Supervisor in case of any shipping issues.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
• Prevent shipping issues by double-checking that all items and quantities are shipped correctly.
• Trouble shoot shipping issues and customer complaints that may arise.
• Pick, lift items as necessary, operate forklift and pallet jack
• Ability to track and account outgoing products
• Confirm proper and timely shipment of products
• Perform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as needed
• Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data into Canopy, shipping documentation, and into reports as needed
• Ensure that product shipments match packing lists before dispatching orders and as product is loaded for shipping.
• Assist in the training process of new shipping staff
• Ensure proper truck inspections and loading of products
• Completes various warehouse forms: warehouse check forms, BRC forms and forklift forms.

Requirements:

• Must have recent forklift experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in fast pace environment.
• Must be able to work in cold and freezer environment
• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
