Together we can serve and impact our local community. We are hiring for a full-time Shift Supervisor at our Boulder store. This is a manager-in-training position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take an active role and partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of other store management.
- Ensure Customer/Donor needs are met by maintaining good Customer/Donor relations.
- Supervise employees in the performance of duties.
- Assist with training for new personnel on store policies and procedures.
- Assure an adequate amount of change at the beginning of each day. Assist with safeguarding cash in registers, and banking of cash receipts as per ARCC policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Available to work flexible hours during open store hours, within a 10am-6pm, 7-day week time frame.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors.
- Previous retail experience and supervisory experience are a plus.
- Must be able to operate or quickly learn to operate a POS/Cash Register and can schedule and supervise store employees in the absence of other store management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as merchandise carts, and furniture dollies.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
