Description
Barren River Lake State Resort Park is a water-lovers paradise surrounded by forested, rolling hills.
The resort is located near Kentucky’s famous cave area, which includes Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest cave system in the world!
The Driftwood Restaurant and Highlands Pub at Barren River Lake State Resort Park offers a variety and wide range of foods and spirits in a warm and cozy setting for the dining room guest as well as groups for meetings and meals. The Driftwood Restaurant has a beautiful view that overlooks the Barren River Lake.
The setting is ideal for a group or a family outing for sharing a sandwich or a full size gourmet meal. Great for fantastic meal or just discussion and relaxing for a meal.
We are currently seeking two individuals to perform duties as a Serving Attendant. The Ideal persons will have great personal skills at relating to our guest and working well with others in a dine-in restaurant and pub setting.
We are looking for someone that can take customer orders, clean, pre-clean, perform opening and closing procedures, work banquet events, offer the most pleasant experience for our restaurant and pub guest and is willing to work weekends, nights and holidays and work hand in hand with Food Service Operations Manager and Park Manager. If you are a team player and enjoy greeting people and delivering great customer service then this is a full time position that might be for you.

Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
