Mountain View Pella is an independent business that distributes products manufactured by Pella Corporation to a variety of customers (e.g., homeowners, builders, and general contractors). With two locations throughout the state of Colorado we are one of the top distributors in the United States of Pella window and door products. SUMMARY
The Service Technician is a field position will be dispatched to diagnose and repair Pella Window and Door products in existing homes and on new construction job sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and service performance/warranty issues with windows and doors.
- Stock products and parts for successful completion of service events.
- Provide status updates to customers, sales personnel, and management.
- Interface with the customer to set expectations and overcome obstacles.
- Approach every situation with a commitment to customer satisfaction and a service ethic that demonstrates that we will never abandon our Pella customers.
- One-year related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and window & door applications and components is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
o Frequent use of ladders.
o Is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
o The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
o The employee will frequently encounter heavy lifting.
o Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
o Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
o The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
