Overview
Our Service Assistant will be responsible for supporting technicians by cleaning shop, test driving trucks, and bringing trucks into service bays. They will also pick-up and deliver medium and heavy-duty trucks as needed..
Responsibilities:
Check-in trucks for Service – Health Reports
Test drive trucks for technicians
Pick up and deliver trucks and parts
Maintain a clean service bays and shop floors
Empty waste and metal containers
Restock restrooms with supplies
Crush and dispose of oil filters and similar material
Clean lunch room, customer lounges
Warranty paperwork, shipping, and scrapping
Inspect fuel and clean service vehicles as necessary
Snow and ice removal (Winter Priority)
Lot checks as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have current valid CDL with a minimum of “B” certification, an “A” preferred
Driving record must meet company liability insurance company standards
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Educational Requirement:
High School diploma or equivalent
