From the herbs and spices we use for homemade adobos and salsas, to our hand-ground tortillas, to the entrees and sauces we create from scratch, every dish is prepared with a reverence to the states of Mexico—glorious places like Yucatan, Vera Cruz, and Chiapas.

The chocolate used in our mole sauce is made from specialty cocoa beans we grind in house. The garlic in the camaron al mojo de ajo is peeled from whole cloves. The skillet-baked blueberries in the pastel de mora are always fresh picked. The tomatoes in our salsa are cooked on a wood-burning grill.

We are looking for skilled and friendly servers to join our team! This position plays a big role for creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide genuine hospitality with a smile.
• Maintain great attitude with focus on Guest satisfaction.
• Be a team player, including offering and asking for help, seating Guests, running food, bussing tables, and taking initiative to help other departments when needed.
• Know restaurant’s food and beverage selections, how to sell these items, and the ability to answer Guests’ questions regarding items.
• Greet Guests, present menus, and explain specials and promotions.
• Anticipate the Guests’ needs and wants and accommodates special requests.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, inputting correctly into the POS system, and delivering camera-ready quality food.
• Assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Complete and set-ups, side work, and/or closing duties assigned.
• Ensure safe food handling and general restaurant safety for Guests and Team Members.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified Food Handler in respective state and TABC certified, or be willing to get both certifications
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow Team Members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
