We are currently hiring for full time server Assistant positions. If you have recent experience in a full-service restaurant environment, a true hospitality mindset, enjoy working as a team, and possess an inspiring positive personality, our team would like to meet you.

Job description:

This position provides support for Servers in a contemporary dining environment. Must be a team-oriented individual with a strong desire to deliver high quality service. Your ability to communicate in a positive, upbeat manner, proactively assist in dining room & room service operations, and show genuine care and concern for your guests are the keys to your success at Jimmy’s on Broadway.

Job requirements

· Current Food Handlers permit

· Understanding of salesmanship and professional service technique

· Ability to communicate menu items clearly & effectively via phone

· Ability to take orders over the phone and enter them correctly into a point of sale system

· Understand the basic characteristics of beers, wines and spirits

· Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment

· Able to work long hours, moving continuously

· POS computer proficiency, Micros experience a plus

· Flexible availability

· MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS

COMPENSATION:

Starting wage is $18.69.
