We continue to grow and are excited to invite a Senior Talent Acquisition – Maintenance/Field Craft professional to join our St. Cloud, MN-based corporate recruiting team. *This is an onsite role, Monday - Friday, and we offer 1 day a week work-remote after training period. Our office is located at 725 Opportunity Drive, St. Cloud, MN.

Opportunity purpose and impact: The Senior Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist Maintenance/Field Craft is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for ATS positions as well as onboarding new hires. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for TA duties in a specific division(s) of the company however, will assist in other areas as needed. As a Senior TA Specialist, will answer questions and assist in the training and development of other TA Specialists.

This role will focus on developing relationships and partnering with our Maintenance /Field Craft teams in St. Cloud, MN, Porter, IN and Houston, TX.

About you: You will understand, model and represent the ATS employment value proposition and identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. You will enjoy developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies, including a focus on building and strengthening community and education system partnerships, to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent.

Key accountabilities:

· Consult with leaders, hiring managers and human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation and sourcing strategies.

· Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

· Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of candidates and the ATS company brand.

· Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.

· Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings. Evaluation and input of our current vendors.

· Place and update all job postings in various Medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.

· Represent the company at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information and interviewing applicants.

· Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.

· Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote ATS referral program and internal opportunities.

· Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed.

· Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate.

· Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required.

· Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.

· Assist in generating strategies to build the employment brand and attract talent in multi-locations and, for high-volume hiring.

· Proactively communicates and advises HR management on strategies, risk areas and opportunities to continually improve.

· Develops and consults with hiring management and recruiters on processes, tools and approaches to improve the candidate and new hire experience.

· Serves as an internal sponsor of our employment brand, programs and policies related to hiring, and the manager’s role in recruiting, selection and onboarding.

· Participates in initiatives/programs to build the ATS employment brand through marketing efforts, engagement strategies, and other high priority focus areas as needed.

· Function consistently, effectively and reliably in accordance with the Company’s values as set forth in our core competencies and behaviors (All Employee Competencies and Manager Competencies).

· Perform work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and infrequent travel may be required as well as perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

· Higher education (two- or four-year college degree) or equivalent work experience in assigned areas of responsibility.

· 3 to 5 years of human resources, talent acquisition and interviewing experience.

· Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs.

· Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.

· Proven ability to communicate and effectively “sell” an organization’s value proposition and develop strategies for building an employment brand in new markets.

· Ability to receive and provide feedback to build positive team spirit and motivate others.

· Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

· Must possess excellent communication skills (written, listening and verbal), including marketing, presentation, interviewing and interpersonal skills.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.

· Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company.

· Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills.

· Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

· Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems.

· Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
