Position Description

The Senior Project Development Coordinator will report to Proposal Manager and work within our overall Project Planning and Development Group. The Senior Project Development Coordinator will be responsible for developing and preparing the responses to multiple simultaneous RFQs and RFPs by coordinating the end-to-end process of project proposal production. This comprehensive development will include all of the parts and pieces of a proposal, with an emphasis on creative and accurate production including typing, reproduction, binding and shipping. The Senior Project Development Coordinator should demonstrate a proven ability to foster synergy across a diverse team of design & construction professionals.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, business administration, or other related majors with a concentration requiring strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • 4 to 6 years of professional experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Demonstrated strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines and accommodate shifting priorities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be extremely organized with proficient organizational skills.
  • Experience conducting research and applying analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry terminology and procedures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) with strong graphic layout capabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Essential Duties:

  • Oversite of the employee portal content under the direction of management and department leads.
  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with industry publications and key strategic partners.
  • Collaborate/build relationships with districts as well as subject matter experts to advance thought leadership content.
  • Act as a strong ambassador, curator, and protector of the Hensel Phelps brand, ensuring consistency in corporate image and brand throughout all online activities and events.
  • Collaborate with district offices to create thought leadership articles and white papers to further promote brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with both internal and agency resources, as necessary.
