Position Summary

Your immediate team, the Golden Products Technical Applications group, creates products, engineering, and technical solutions brought to life through collaboration and cross-functional teamwork. As a Senior Processing Engineer, you’ll provide leadership and support in the areas of process improvement and development, operational capability, technical evaluations, and training to meet divisional needs/priorities. Additionally, you’ll assist the division in taking advantage of Nestlé’s worldwide technological know-how.

  • Lead projects as you coordinate experimental trials at our Pilot Plant and various factories, interpret data, and effectively communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support factory scale-up of new and/or renovated processes and products.
  • Coordinate activities with Support Center (in-house Machine/Fabrication shop) as appropriate.
  • Lead and support Golden Products Product Supply Operational Master Plan (OMP) activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and process improvement recommendations to improve existing operations. (i.e., reduce waste, improve quality, or increase efficiency.)
  • Work closely with engineering, factory, and quality associates to establish new process specifications.
  • Evaluate new technologies/methodologies for potential use for Golden Products plants as defined by business priorities.
  • Support qualification of new raw materials and/or suppliers as appropriate.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, processing, engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of process engineering, technical applications, and/or research and development experience in food, chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical, or other related fields
  • Willing and able to travel up to 40-50% of the time
