Senior Network Engineer (MTIPS)
Qualification:
BS or MS with 8 + years of experience
MUST BE onsite 4 days a week at one of our offices (NY, NJ, DC or Utah).

This position will focus on establishing, growing, strengthening and supporting MetTel’s Secure Infrastructure implementations and providing technical solution to MetTel’s customers requiring network visibility and security solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:
· Architect, secure, maintain, and continuously improve IP network by considering issues including performance, availability, utilization, throughput, and latency
· Expert knowledge of core routing and switching design principles, best practices, and related technologies.
· Ability to troubleshoot Carrier/Service Provider networks: Including the methods used to support services in the carrier space -, SD-WAN, MPLS, SIP, PRI, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QOS, IPSLA, DMVPN etc.
· Strong experience with firewall specifically Cisco ASA
· Hands-on experience with Fire eye
· Establish, configure, and maintain external network connectivity leveraged for internet access, market data connectivity, third party connectivity, disaster recovery (DR) site, VPNs, voice communications, remote offices, and public cloud.
· Extensive and highly developed skills including networking routing/switching, firewalls, wireless access points/controllers, Cloud CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.) and SD-WAN controllers
· Evaluate, select, and implement technologies to standardize and automate the implementation and configuration of network systems.
· Designing, implementing, managing and supporting Service provider/Enterprise level IP networks that include support of a heterogeneous distributed desktop computing environment required.
· Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all network resources, key processes, reviewing logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
· Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
· Experience with Force Point Firewall is a plus
· Experience with RSA MFA Token and Tenable Nessus Pro
· Knowledge of Gigamon packet broker
· Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with ITIL, Agile (SAFe, Scrum) frameworks
• • Familiarity with PCI-DSS regulatory compliance
• Experience with different security product like - Zscaler , iboss etc.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM Cloud
• Good understanding with information system security certification requirements, such as: FISMA, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001
• Demonstrable knowledge of information security control frameworks, i.e. NIST RMF, ISO
