The Sr. Media Specialist is responsible for working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute B2B and/or B2C multimedia advertising campaigns with the goal of driving new business to support the sales organization’s goals and business objectives.

The Sr. Media Specialist develops and executes media campaigns that guide the target audience through the sales funnel and drive results through a variety of digital (OLA) and OOH platforms. This position is data-driven to achieve maximum results.

Outcomes and Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to a Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at an office location if requested by the team member.
  • Develop strategic, on-brand media campaigns that are aligned with business objectives, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product, Analytics, Talent Acquisition, and other departments as needed.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance tracking, budget management and KPI tracking, including conversions, cost per clicks, and cost per acquisition; ensure targeting and bidding strategies support goals and are optimized for maximum results.
  • Quantify business value of media campaigns and recommend new opportunities to grow and optimize media spend.
  • Interpret analytics to identify personas for messaging and advertisement delivery.
  • Provide strategic copy and multimedia creative direction for all advertising channels, including OOH opportunities, industry publications, and paid search, social, display, etc.
  • Implement media strategy and support delivery of advertising campaigns from conception to refinement.
  • Setup, deploy and monitor campaigns in Google, Bing, social channels, and other OLA opportunities. monitoring to finetune campaigns across all platforms.
  • Manage and execute media calendar, ensuring all assets are developed, approved, and submitted within deadlines.
  • Identify new media opportunities to test based on analytics data and research throughout the year.
  • Implement analytical frameworks to track and report on key KPIs based on objectives and learning agenda and determine the conversion ROI.
  • Support company growth initiatives relating to target audience, quality and evaluation of acquisition costs, tracking the customer journey by marketing channel to determine the effectiveness on engagement and conversion.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strategic & analytic orientation, such as:
  • Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
  • Conceptual thinking skills balanced with a strong quantitative mindset.
  • Objective data analysis of paid media programs, including ongoing optimization, and tracking and analyzing test-and-learn plans.
  • Results-focused, able to achieve both short- and long-term goals based on desired outcomes.
  • Lead and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment with untapped learning opportunities.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis and research to obtain audience insights and stay on the cutting edge of strategic marketing and editorial trends.
  • Prepare strategic and analytical insights into clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Work with external media partners to develop and execute plans that optimize ROI.
  • Decisionmaker with strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity who brings a healthy, persistent, yet responsible approach to business.
  • Positive, professional, determined, calm and focused when faced with challenging situations.
  • Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, product, and/or tech organizations.
  • Experience solving problems using analytical tools, such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, etc., and/or partnering with analytics teams.
  • Understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions, programmatic advertising and other media buys.
  • Experience with search engine and social media advertising platforms.
  • Experience with in-market testing.

Preferred:

  • Background in automotive or finance industry.
  • Experience running paid media programs with significant budgets across multiple channels.

Targeted Compensation: $86,500 - $101,000 + an annual bonus plan
