The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Measurement and Research Analyst to join the Communications Team.

The successful candidate will have a passion for using research and analytics to unlock insights that make brands stronger and communications more effective. This senior-level specialist will help lead the strategy, capabilities and governance for measurement and analysis practices for the Communications function. This person is responsible for curating data, analyzing, measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of our brand and reputation initiatives with key audience segments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analysis and global research methodologies, and will also be adept at advising teammates and conveying actionable recommendations to executive stakeholders for optimizing performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Shapes the team’s governance of quantitative and qualitative communications measurement models, including objective- and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) settings, data analysis and best practices for ways that data is used to influence action by communications stakeholders

  • Performs analysis to identify insights and key drivers of performance, quantifies the impact of initiatives, and helps find stories within the data

  • Develops and manages brand measurement and research strategy, using both primary and secondary data sources to evaluate and track global brand and reputational performance

  • Provides insights and recommendations to the brand team and senior management based on data analysis, research findings, and industry trends, including audience segmentation analysis

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment and consistency in tracking multi-channel communications strategies and brand performance

  • Identifies new data sources, research techniques, and analytical tools to enhance measurement and research

  • Ensures data quality, accuracy, and completeness of all brand-related data and measurement tools

  • Partners with Human Resources (HR) for employee research projects

  • Provides subject matter expertise for communications research inquiries and acts as an advisor to the communications function on data and research application

  • Works closely with external supplier partners on brand research and analysis projects

  • Demonstrates an active role in qualitative and quantitative primary research projects, including helping with analyzing research objectives, assisting in design of the methodology/questionnaire, analyzing the data and creating research presentations

  • Consults on creative ways to visualize quantitative data in presentations

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience researching and analyzing data

  • Excellent verbal and written skills with capability to communicate task progress and challenges within team and with technical leadership, both internal and external

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment

  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience in a role that required strong problem solving skills and analytical skills

  • Experience utilizing different research methodologies as well as brand and marketing models

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's degree or higher

  • Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling tools such as R, Python, and SQL

  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $116,450 - $180,550
