CORD Financial Services, LLC – part of The Fikes Companies (Fikes Wholesale, CEFCO, Group Petroleum Services, CORD Financial Services, and Heritage Foods) is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join their team. This is not a remote position and will be in our corporate office located in Temple, TX.
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for CORD’s marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the company while working closely with business units to ensure that marketing strategies are carried out effectively and reflect CORD’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and direct marketing initiatives for various business units (Business Development, Parts, Operations, and DNS)
• Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products overseeing the implementation of the marketing and communication strategies – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, product/process introduction, and PR
• Oversee and manage the marketing calendar for website content and various marketing campaigns
• Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives. Develop KPIs for CORD’s marketing strategy
• Manage social media presence by creating and directing programs to improve social media reputation and recognition. Oversee the company’s website and email marketing program
• Develops and directs the overall strategic planning, budget, and execute of trade shows and exhibitions. Continuously collaborates with business partners to develop business objectives, concepts, deliverables, and timelines of the shows

Skills Required

• Ability to develop engaging, and effective marketing plans to drive interest and promote key products and offerings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide leadership/motivation and convey the marketing vision and strategies, and ensure buy-in by CORD business units
• Excellent in managing short-term goals with long term priorities for the business
• Ability to analyze data & financials, incorporate multiple insights, and develop creative solutions
• Ability to set the agenda, and take others with you by influencing team members and partnering cross-functionally
• Demonstrated ability with Adobe software, Magento, and WordPress
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects with internal resources and external vendors while delivering on-time and on-budget
• Excellent problem-solving skills, having the ability to know when to negotiate and when to comply
• Eye for detail and execute with good judgement
• Creative, efficient, and analytical long with demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Possess the ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints of resources, budgets, and timelines, while remaining adaptable and flexible

Education/Experience

• Degree in Marketing, Creative Writing, or related field
• Not less than five (5) years of professional marketing experience
• Not less than two (2) years social media experience including extensive experience with Google Analytics, and a variety of platforms
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite, Adobe Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress and Magenta platforms
