As the Sr. Manager, Non-Commercial Sales, you will lead a team that calls on Aramark, Sodexo, and Tier II FMC's as an important member of Red Bull North America's Non-Commercial National Account team. You will contribute to volume, share, and distribution goals by developing plans with all assigned customers and their lines of business for Red Bull North America through a team of Regional Sales Managers. You will report to the Senior Director, Non Commercial Sales, and be located in Philadelphia, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • NON-COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

    Deep understanding of FMC strategies, drivers, and approach to category and item management, customer relationship building and selling. Collect and analyze relevant category, customer, and consumer data to inform insights led business plans for all respective FMC lines of business.

    Unit Distribution - Support distribution projects across geography to ensure100% in-stocks on all authorized SKUs. Communicate with Red Bull partners across sales, marketing, and distribution (Distribution) to close distribution voids.

    Joint Business Planning: Support joint annual business planning between assigned customers, and Red Bull executive management teams. Develop strategic national, and regional programs to increase volume and distribution with positive Return on investment. Work with national account team and field sales to ensure 100% compliance to all Headquarter (HQ) promotional activity at the store level working with Foodservice sales teams and distribution partners.

    Display and Cold Equipment - Work with Category Development Managers (CDM) to develop conceptual selling tools to achieve account goals while driving permanent displays.

  • WIRE TO WIN

    Maintain business relationships with senior management across important retail partners and customer stakeholders to enhance energy category within each line of business

    Establish field of play agreement that ensures all local and regional decision makers of assigned customers are aligned with Red Bull Foodservice and distributor partner sales teams.

    Ensure all accounts' main decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting strategies.

  • BUSINESS ANALYSIS

    Work with Category Management Team and manager to evaluate Return on investment on all programs and communicates insights to HQ.

    Guide post-promotion analysis, following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness.

    Use all available RBNA and customer data and tools to develop a position of thought leadership within the Energy Drink Category with assigned account.

    Analyze sales data thoroughly to define priorities, identify opportunities, and apply focus for the team.

  • DEVELOPMENT



    Ensure career development for your entire team through focus of specific and direct feedback.

    Assist your account managers to develop programs.

    Educate and motivate your direct reports for increased productivity.

    Lead your team to develop thought-leading programs and insights that impact national strategy.

  • CUSTOMER PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT (CPM)

    Lead our priorities, goals, and results across CPM (a long-term business transformation process) as it relates to ALL Key Account processes.

    Develop trainings and processes to ensure CPM becomes part of RBNA culture, and hold teams accountable to commitment to accurate planning and spend on CPM platform.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
  • 7+ years Sales and Key Account experience with Foodservice Management Companies
  • Beverage or CPG experience
  • Experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Syndicated data like Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data)
  • Complex negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Foodservice industry
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 70-80%
