Overview of Job Function:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is an integral and proactive member of the business and serves as a trusted advisor on all matters related to human capital in the Americas Sales organization. The HRBP is accountable for direction and administration of all human resources activities, including employee/leadership development, performance management, coaching, employee relations, and policy implementation. The role will act as a business partner and advisor to senior sales executives.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior sales leadership team while building deep business understanding and relationships, resulting in strategic alignment with the organization as well as organizational trust in, and partnership with, the HR function.
  • Provide advice, coaching, counsel and problem solving to managers and employees around individual career path, performance management, organizational learning opportunities and other HR related issues.
  • Manage on-boarding and talent development programs for all employees in respective client group.
  • Assist in identification of organizational development needs. Assist with implementation of corporate programs/solutions to address needs. May include training program development and facilitation.
  • Partner with senior sales leaders to design organizational structure, job roles, and talent management processes to drive and maximize business performance.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on employees and manage change to minimize disruption to the business.
  • Lead succession planning & talent development strategies for the client group, identifying critical roles & preparing potential talent for growth through training, etc.
  • Monitor compliance with HR policies, procedures and programs to ensure adherence.
  • Responsible for employee relations, including investigations, where necessary.
  • Guide management team in appropriate handling of employee challenges and concerns.
  • Assist with the annual performance management process. Work closely with business leaders to ensure rewards are aligned to performance and that ongoing feedback is provided.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years demonstrated successful experience supporting sales organizations of mid-size technology organizations.
  • Strong customer and results focus, seeing the bigger picture, while ensuring detail is accurate.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices, including but not limited to, HR strategy, employment law, job analysis, organizational design, talent development, and recruiting.
  • Experience working with various levels of management within a sales environment.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Sales Incentive plans.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult HR matters.
  • Possess Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook skills.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
