The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to firm executives (e.g., C-level). This position acts as a liaison between various partner-level leadership groups as well as partners and employees throughout the firm. Independent and sound business judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the executive’s inbox, fluctuating calendars due to competing priorities and arrange detailed travel logistics
  • Oversee organization and preparation of materials for executive presentations, meetings, and special projects
  • Partner with others to manage, plan, and coordinate recurring and special projects as well as activities and communications for onsite and off-site executive-sponsored meetings and events
  • Independently compose, edit and proofread business correspondence, presentations, reports, articles, etc., and conduct research as necessary
  • Represent senior leadership by serving as a liaison to internal and external clients and following up with clients when appropriate
  • Manage expense reconciliation for assigned executives
  • Attend key meetings with the executive and represent them in meetings as necessary, taking notes, and tracking decisions and action items
  • Serve as a role model for others across the firm
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in business, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience required, preferably in an executive support role; experience in a professional services environment preferred
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility; ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion
  • Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish, including managing peers and individuals senior to you
  • Ability to understand problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint); advanced skills preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
