What You'll Do

A Director is responsible for performing functions to identify and solve complex business, organizational, and operational challenges while defining and improving associated processes, people, technology, and data value. This role will be part of the Asset Management service offering within the ALM practice, which includes projects focused on Capability Assessments, Operating Framework Development, Technology Enablement, and Data & Analytics. The Director, EAM Systems Strategy and Management Consulting will be responsible for leading and contributing to projects with scope that includes Enterprise Asset Management technology strategies, processes, systems, data management and data analysis. Tasks may include:

• Lead Strategy and Management Consulting projects across the practice that may include strategic planning, technology assessments, capability maturity assessments, and training
• Analyze client's current state by supporting analysis of asset management business processes, document review, and focused workshops
• Develop business cases to support recommendations and assist clients in receiving approval for project implementation
• Summarize insights from analysis and clearly communicate analytical findings in a cohesive story and articulate an argument to be presented to executives
• Possess or gain a solid understanding of EAM applications' functionality, intended processes, uses, and features that client personnel can leverage during their daily work
• Work with client users and development staff on issues and efforts related to the implementation of asset management and work management business processes
• Interact with client personnel to obtain information and share information needed for successful EAM system implementation, upgrades, usage, data requirements, maintenance, reliability, and MRO practices
• Develop client-facing materials with Microsoft Office products, using skill in PowerPoint to turn textual information into compelling, easily understood graphics
• Support opportunity pursuits, proposals, and practice development initiatives
• Promote an effective forum for sharing EAM expertise, as well as strengthen our client's and team's collective EAM knowledge

What You Will Need To Succeed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Finance, or another related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategy and management consulting, asset management, reliability management, information technology or a related profession
• Experience with supporting client's assessment, selection, and implementation of major EAM solutions (e.g., Maximo, Oracle, SAP)
• Knowledgeable in software development and application development life cycles, along with formal project management techniques
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
• Exceptional problem-solving skills - an organized, analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
• Excellent communication, mathematical and organizational skills
• Willingness to maintain a flexible travel schedule depending on client engagement (potential travel outside the US

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree or MBA
• Industry experience in power and utilities, oil and gas, manufacturing, chemicals, or infrastructure and facilities
• Previous asset analytic and modeling experience
• Confidence and maturity to work with senior executives
