About Healthcare:

The Healthcare Service Line works with Pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device manufacturers and technology companies throughout the project lifecycle from early stage strategy, to launch of a new product, to product optimization. In addition to custom research, the healthcare Service Line also works on therapeutic centers of expertise in Oncology, Autoimmune, Virology and more.

The Healthcare service line at Ipsos brings true specialization, offering a unique depth of knowledge and expertise across the healthcare ecosystem to our clients in health insurance and health services companies.

The Advisory services team was established to generate strategic insights that build upon the company’s core competencies in market research, culminating in a premier healthcare consultancy.

The Sr. Consultant plays a key role in building and maintaining client relationships with top Fortune 50 health insurance and health services companies. Typical client interactions including working with current and prospective clients to understand their business needs and creating engagement strategies to meet those needs based on Ipsos’ offerings. Typical engagements include developing strategies for improved member engagement with digital health solutions, supporting product development across the lifecycle for innovative health solutions, designing healthcare provider solutions to allow providers to work with patients to improve health outcomes, and executing analytical work streams to optimize the impact of healthcare programs and tactics.

You will join a unique team of problem solvers who come from backgrounds as diverse as scientific research, brand management, strategy consulting, medicine, and more. Together, the team leverages these diverse perspectives to solve some of the most complex and challenging strategic problems for our clients across the healthcare market.


This might be the job for you if you have:

  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred
  • Health Insurance Experience
  • 6-8 years of professional health insurance/health services experience: preferably in product development, management consulting, brand management, or market research
  • Experience with multiple lines of business within the health insurance industry including group, Individual, Medicare, and Medicaid.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including bringing clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, with a solid understanding of market research
  • Ease and confidence with “thinking on your feet”
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Confidence outlining proposals (with support from executive team) in response to client RFPs
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationship with executive leaders
  • Ability to develop and adjust project approaches & frameworks as fit for various projects
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define business problems, develop secondary data analysis plans and identify appropriate data resources. Explain insights, findings and analysis limitations to partners.
  • Work with clients in the assigned team(s) to develop service level agreements outlining primary and secondary data analytics requirements and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical capability and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Proficiency in

data management and statistical modeling packages (such as Python, SAS, and/or, R) or other similar data analysis tools preferred.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills-understands the advantages and limits of different analytical approaches and studies and their findings
  • High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, proactive demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal skills
