McQuillen Manufacturing is a contract manufacture located about 20 minutes south of Rochester in Honeoye Falls, NY. We specialize in 5 axis machining of components & assemblies for the aerospace & defense industries. We operate a modern 75,000SF air-conditioned facility equipped with 5 axis machining centers such as Matsuura, DMG and Mazak.

McQuillen Manufacturing is looking for candidates with all levels of experience, from entry level to master machinist.

Job description

CNC Machinist - 5 Axis is responsible for setting up and operating 5 axis milling equipment to produce components to customer supplied specifications. Duties include setting up tooling in our tool crib, setting up modular and custom work holding and fixturing, setting tool lengths, machine offsets and probing. CNC Machinist - 5 Axis is also responsible for working with programming and quality teams to produce a conforming first article and maintaining 100% quality during the production run.

Requirements:

• Experienced setting up and operating CNC Machining Centers including setting up tooling & work-holding
• Experienced with Fanuc machine controllers
• Experienced with Siemens & Heidenhain is a plus
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T as well as inspection instruments such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages and thread gages
• Minimum 5 years experience as a setup machinist

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
