RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tarrytown, NY that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Law IT.

Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Business Analyst will provide support to Law IT leaders in developing business cases by providing business benefits analysis and estimates for area of responsibility (business requirements, functional design, business processes, UAT)
  • Serves in part as an educator on the capabilities of Law tools and platforms to enable related business activities (document mgmt. solutions, contract mgmt. solutions, privacy solutions, compliance solutions, etc.)
  • Elicit requirements for projects and enhancements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as required by the project methodology
  • Lead user acceptance testing for major initiatives, small projects and enhancements ensuring that the final solution delivers against business requirements
  • The Senior Business Analyst will serve as the conduit between the internal functional owner community and the software development team(s) through which requirements flow and are designed, built and tested
Business Technology Planning
  • Support Law IT leadership to identify gaps in existing processes, determine disposition (major project, small project, enhancement) and provide recommendations for future process & technology improvements
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers
  • Develop and continually strengthen deep knowledge of marketing technologies and business processes for assigned areas
  • Act as a workstream lead to ensure plans that support key process areas meet business requirements now and for the future
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 6 years of IT BA or PM experience including 1-2 years hands-on experience with related Law IT platforms
  • Strong ability to collaborate with Law IT leaders, business leadership, senior technologists, to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results
  • Deep understanding of Law platforms, analytics and use of tools to manage related business functions
  • Experience in business process & requirements gathering through execution
  • Experience with related Law platforms (Icertis, OneTrust, OpenText, iManage, etc.)
  • Collaborative, agile mindset to drive speedy, creative and efficient use of technology and data to drive business value
  • Project management & data analytics (in the context of G&A, Law IT business area)
  • Ability to creatively and constructively challenge technical designs to ensure simplicity and supportability
  • High degree of business acumen and urgency to act
  • Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms in both small and large group settings
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Ability to think analytically, a proactive problem solver
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
