Title: Sr. Accountant

Department: Consolidations, Worldwide Accounting

Reports to: Manager, Consolidation Accounting

Remote Role, No need for relocation.

Objective

Consolidate, analyze, and publish financial data for a multinational publicly traded company. This position interacts with all reporting units around the world and is a highly visible role interacting with, FP&A, External Reporting, Tax, and Treasury functions at the corporate headquarters.

Specific Accountability

· Prepare consolidation journal entries for monthly consolidation process

· Prepare quarterly footnotes and financial statements.

· Assist in maintenance of the Longview system/database.

· Review and consolidate monthly financial data from reporting units and prepare various analyses

· Prepare quarter-end and year-end reporting schedules and assist with external and internal audits

· Provide support for preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings and board presentations

· Provide assistance and support to operating units and other departments to ensure that financial results are prepared in accordance with GAAP and Tupperware policies and procedures.

· Assist with testing of Financial Reporting department's internal control procedures.

· Complete other financial projects and reports, as needed.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of processes

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Three to five years of accounting and consolidatios experience.

· Big 4 or large public company experience preferred.

Skills

· Ability to work independently under general guidance and with self-initiative.

· Strong analytical and technical skills

· Demonstrates motivation and team work in a dynamic, multi-cultural business environment.

· Ability to work well within deadlines

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in Windows and network environment, proficient use of Excel and Word

· Experience with Longview and Oracle is a plus
