Senior Accountant

McCusker Associates is a growing CPA firm located in Lower Gwynedd. McCusker Associates provides Tax and Advisory services to businesses and individuals.

We are looking for an experienced tax and accounting professional who is currently a CPA or is actively pursuing their CPA license. This position is available for those seeking in person full-time work.

We require experienced professionals who are talented, motivated to succeed, grow, learn and most of all, enjoy life. Salary commensurate with experience and ability.

Schedule:

• Core hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm;
• Schedule varies depending on deadlines, workload, and client availability, including Saturdays during busy season and Fridays off in the summer.

Qualifications Include the following:

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant or actively pursuing a CPA license
• Must have worked at least five years in public accounting for a local, regional, or national CPA firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• 5 years of Tax preparation and QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Planning engagements and performing procedures
• Preparing financial statements and workpapers
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services
• Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested
• Contributes to team by helping as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
