Position Description:

Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices, the Senior Accountant will perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses. Reporting directly to the C.F.O, the Senior Accountant takes ownership of Accounting functions and plays a key role in helping Doll Distributing with their vision: Building Brands and Building Relationships. All duties performed are expected to be within the objectives, standards, mission, and policies of Doll Distributing LLC, State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry, and brewery/supplier requirements

Essential Functions:

• 
  Run daily transactions reports from bank for all locations
• Complete journal entries and reconcile General Ledger assigned accounts on a monthly basis
• Complete annual 1099 Reporting process
• Complete annual Minnesota liquor Sales Report
• Assist C.F.O with quarterly projects
• Manage reporting and disposing for all incoming assets using Asset Keeper and VIP
• Play an active role in completing internal audits, various locations and departments
• Additional daily, monthly, and yearly accounting duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Non Essential Functions:

• Serve as a back up to Pricing and other accounting positions including payroll

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree in Accounting Required
• Minimum of 2 year accounting experience
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications
• Proficient in time management
• Intermediate excel spreadsheet skills

  • The visual ability necessary to read and interpret a computer screen and differentiate product types is required. The hearing ability necessary to communicate with others is required
