Highway 160 Self-Storage in Pahrump NV is looking to fill a Part Time position for a Self Storage Manager opening. Storage experience preferred, but not required. The position is 30 hours per week, work schedule Tuesday-Saturday with hours divided between two facilities in close proximity. U-Haul Experience preferred.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of our self-storage facilities while remaining in compliance with all state and federal laws. Working closely with the Property Manager to acheive buisness goals and objectives.

Job duties include the showing, renting, and vacating of storage units, greeting customers, answering phones for rental inquiries and making delinquency phone calls. Includes all aspects of running an office including, but not limited to the use of a computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries in a professional manner, communicating with the corporate office, making decisions, reconciling cash receipts, following lien procedures (must be detailed oriented) and the printing/interpreting of reports.

In addition to office related work, responsibilities include being able to work both inside and outside doing maintenance work (i.e. cleaning of units, picking up trash and debris, sweeping hallways and grounds, cleaning bathrooms, pulling weeds, and minor repairs)

Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and have the ability to solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Must be able to pass a complete background check, have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit. Trips to the post office, office supply store, etc. may be necessary, so reliable transportation is required along with minimum liability auto insurance coverage. Starting hourly pay begins at $15.00 an hour with the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions monthly on Storage Rentals. Health + Additional Benefits available to all new full-time employees after a 60 day waiting period.
