Self Storage company is looking for an Assistant Manager to work in our four Florida facilities located in/around The Villages and Wildwood. This is a part time opportunity with 3 scheduled days per week/24 hours per week. The scheduled days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, weekly. Additional hours are available at times so flexibility in schedule is highly desired. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, have a customer-oriented personality with strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Interested candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office and navigating the Internet.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Help customers understand their storage needs, renting units to new customers, processing payments, answering questions and solving problems

Open and close the office on scheduled days

Consult, sell, and upsell to promote merchandise sales

Assist Manager by ensuring accounts are current and perform collections responsibilities as necessary

Assist Manager by ensuring the appearance of the property is customer ready by conducting daily walk-throughs and maintaining the property

Assist Manager with cleaning vacated units and monitoring the physical condition of the facility

Truck leasing: reserving, renting, checking-in, making sure trucks are clean and full of fuel

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, some college/college degree preferred

Valid driver's license

Truck leasing and storage experience preferred but not required

Pre-employment background check

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and stoop for duration of shift, requires ability to lift 25 lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
