Job Title: Security System Installer

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000

Security System Installer Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Security System Installer to join our team. The Security System Installer will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining security systems, including intrusion alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security systems, as well as experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

Security System Installer Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain security systems, including intrusion alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal installation points and equipment placement.
• Install and program electronic security equipment, including control panels, sensors, cameras, and access control systems.
• Test and troubleshoot security systems to ensure proper operation and diagnose and repair any problems.
• Provide technical support to customers and end-users, including training and system maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations and repairs, including documenting equipment placement and wiring diagrams.
• Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality installations and repairs.

Security System Installer Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in security system installations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of security systems, including intrusion alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
