On Target Staffing is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for our Porters Neck location! This temp to hire opportunity is PRN, rotating 12 hour shifts of 8 am-8 pm/8 pm-8 am. Must be available Sun-Sat.

Must: have clean criminal background check and Covid-19 vaccination (or eligible for exemption). Have prior security experience.

$17hr

Position Summary

Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting community property.

Essential Duties

• Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
• Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Assists with emergencies including hurricane, fire, etc.
• Sets and checks resident apartment door monitor system.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
• Transports residents on property as needed.

Other Duties

• Performs light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, touch-up painting, plugging in back up refrigerator, and similar assignments.
• Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• May drive company vehicle to deliver newspapers and other materials to resident apartments as needed.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Maintains work area in proper condition and in a safe and organized manner.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, safe and secure work area at all times and follows all established safety and quality control procedures.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of all records.
• Performs other functions as needed or required.
