We are currently looking for a Scrum Master to join our operations team and help support project management for our Government Division! Previous experience in either the Government, or Healthcare sector is required.

Responsibilities:

• Coaches and mentors, the team on Agile and Scrum principles, values, and practices, driving towards a goal of a continuous improvement mindset and recommends adjustments to established delivery practices.
• Acts as a servant leader and aids with the resolution of blocking impediments.
• Fosters team collaboration and self-organization.
• Identifies differences in understanding issues as they occur; works with the team to problem-solve or escalate to management if needed.
• Facilitates Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Retrospectives, and other related team and cross-team meetings. Assists in facilitating Sprint Demos. Participates in Scrum of Scrums.
• Utilizes tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze Agile data and metrics, managing progress daily. Maintains information radiators and tracks metrics for the teams, including velocity and burndown charts in order to drive team improvement.
• Assists the Product Owner in driving stories to a ready state in preparation for the upcoming Sprint and the next Release.
• Ensures that the team has a clear and common understanding of the work that needs to be done, and that the work items reflect this understanding.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 8 years applicable related experience.
• Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, and/or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification
• Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States

Desired Qualifications:

• Health Care Industry and/or CMS experience
• Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
• Well versed in a variety of Agile approaches (SAFe, Scrum/LeSS, Kanban)
• Some knowledge of development environments, platforms, and technologies including Salesforce, Java, general web development and cloud technology
• Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
• Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment

Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,786.00 per year
