In this role, you will be working independently and will be responsible for conducting assigned studies according to study protocols and recording study results and observations. As a lead analyst, you should be able to plan a study, organize a notebook, as well as process over 140 study samples (one or two runs) or multiple validation runs per day

The Job

  • Provide lead assistance on projects which includes communicating with clients and internal groups in a timely fashion and managing projects effectively to ensure the data quality and timelines meet the client’s requirements and standards.
  • Evaluate and summarize LC-MS/MS data, including anomalies that may require further investigation.
  • Independently prepare study protocols, data analyses, study summaries, and/or reports.
  • Manage project flow to ensure timely execution of multiple projects.
  • Assist in the organization and operation of all lab instruments and procedures to conduct multiple studies simultaneously.
  • Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and maintain study records.
  • Prepare QA related documents for regulatory compliance and perform corrective actions for QA audit findings.
  • Train or mentor junior analysts in lab procedures and instrumentation.


Work Location

  • This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based


Requirements

A degree in Analytical Chemistry is preferred, but Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related scientific discipline will be considered as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR
  • Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency at operating relevant laboratory equipment, including ability to set up a run and process data on a mass spec
  • Demonstrated experience with LIMS and databases
  • Familiar with data interpretation
