SCHOOL SECRETARY
Location: Early Childhood
Position: 10.5 Months 8 Hours
Starting Pay: $16.22

Essential Job Functions:
The Parkway Early Childhood School Secretary position consists of a variety of tasks that include clerical, technical & interpersonal skills. This position will support our Parents as Teachers program. Effective communication skills with a customer service attitude is needed as relationship building skills are critical to our program. In addition, a highly organized individual who can multitask, effectively manage their time and work cooperatively within a team setting is necessary. This individual will be responsible for using multiple data collection programs such as google apps, Visit Tracker, and Access. They are also responsible for enrolling families and helping with caseload management. Greeting & interacting with children and families will be part of the regular routine as well.

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years experience in an office environment
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in google apps, mail merge and the ability to learn new systems easily
• Ability to function in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate effectively with tact, courtesy and discretion with staff, students and parents while maintaining confidentiality
• Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Mobility to move in and around building

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.22 per hour
